Couple Therapy
Our team at Relational Foundations Institute also provides couples therapy, offering partners a supportive space to navigate conflict, strengthen connection, and rebuild trust. These sessions provide partners with a supportive space to move beyond surface-level conflict—such as anger, resentment, or miscommunication—and explore the deeper beliefs and unmet needs that often drive relational patterns. By identifying these core needs, couples can cultivate greater understanding, compassion, and connection, creating a stronger foundation for their relationship.
Our therapeutic approach draws from psychodynamic and emotionally focused perspectives. We recognize that each partner carries both strengths and unhealed wounds into the relationship. Because romantic partnerships often stir unresolved attachment experiences, they can be both a source of conflict and a powerful opportunity for growth. In couples therapy, partners learn to recognize and respond to each other’s vulnerabilities, opening the door for deeper trust, closeness, and lasting healing.
